While we are passionate about saving as many pit bulls as we can, unfortunately sometimes lack of funds stand in our way. We at Long Way Home pride ourselves in going above and beyond for each rescue dog we save and this includes providing premium veterinary care, feeding a high quality diet, and supplying our foster families with anything and everything they need to be successful. While it may be considered the “expensive” way to run the rescue, we consider it the best way and in return, it guarantees we are putting our best foot forward for dogs so desperately needing a second chance!

Sometimes, however, our supporters come across a dog who truly speaks to him or her and these supporters choose to go above and beyond by sponsoring (and sometimes even fostering!) all of the dog’s needs. When our dogs have sponsors, we can help save more lives by putting our donated funds elsewhere! If you have come across a dog that you are moved by and are willing and able to cover the financial expenses associated with said dog, please fill out the following form for us to review. While we make no guarantees we will be able to accept him or her into our program, the chances are greater when he or she has a sponsor and/or foster motivated to save his/her life!
