We at Long Way Home Pit Bull Rescue thoroughly enjoy when the community gets involved in our important work — in fact, we think it’s crucial that our community be involved and enjoy what we do for homeless pit bulls in need as much as we do! Because of this, we offer several ways to get involved in our rescue:

1. Our Pit Crüe is our volunteer group made up of pit bull loving, motivated individuals looking to give back to our cause. Our Pit Crüe is the backbone behind all of our events and provides crucial help to our foster families by walking, playing, and aiding in basic training of some of our rescue pit bulls! 2. We strive to provide top notch, hands-on experience to those with a passion for pit bulls or nonprofit work (or both!)! We are currently offering two types of volunteer-based internship opportunities that are sure to provide the experience and excitement you are looking for!
